Making Christ Known It is important to us to be a church where Christ is present and connected to His people, alive in our hearts, our thoughts and our actions. We believe that our public worship is a time to proclaim and witness to God’s making Himself present and known and wanting to live in and among His people. We believe that God’s intent is not simply to make Himself present and connected to us, but to change us into people who demonstrate His compassion and care for others. We believe that the church exists to reveal this love of Christ and that His love should be practiced toward one another in the church, and expressed in authentic ways to those who are outside the church. We believe that the best witness to the person of Jesus Christ is to teach and to live out his forgiving and transforming love revealed in Christ’s death, resurrection, and working of His Spirit in our midst.
